Are you looking for some fun writing prompts for Valentine’s Day? I did too! I love getting my students to write. It’s an excellent way for them to practice what they’ve learned in my lessons. And for me to see what they can do. It’s awesome to witness what they can do after being in my class for half a year!

But I couldn’t find what I was looking for to do this, so I made my own resource. And boy do my students love it! It’s this flip book that students must fold so the prompts work as a book. It’s perfect for Valentines Day writing!

Valentine’s Day writing prompts the fun way

This writing activity is a flip book that gives students Valentine’s Day writing prompts to get students to write about what they love for this holiday! It ask them to reflect on what they love about their friends and family, as well as school and of course, themselves. Each prompt has its own page.

The Valentine writing activity flip book must be folded such that it can be opened and closed easily and that they cover looks really pretty and colorful. You can do that by either printing it in color, or have them color in the pages of the black and white version!

This resource is available in printable form, with 5 prompts, and also in digital form, with 6 prompts. The digital version is hosted in Google Slides TM. make sure students use it in ‘edit’ mode, so that they can actually type in the document! This works really well for if your students are distance learning, or if you want to use this resource in a paperless way.
